Birthday Surprises

Today Is my grandmothers birthday. I called her on speaker phone and we all sang her happy birthday. Then I asked her what she was doing today and if she was having cake.

She told me in no uncertain terms that there is no way in hell she is baking her own cake for her birthday!

My dad has been out of town all weekend, but he is stopping by my place today, before heading home. Grandma lives with him. I just popped a cake in the oven for him to take home for her.

Everyone deserves a cake for their birthday!
