FAIL!

Last March I started a Cross Stitch of Rainbow Man. I used a program to turn the picture to a pattern and started working on it. Then I got obsessed (even more so) with my blog(s) and put it down.

In the summer it is really hard to Cross Stitch becuase I won't take it outside, there are too many threads and papers and things to keep track of and clean, and the kids are too young, or at least the baby is too young to be out alone.

So tonight I picked it up with the intention of getting a bunch of work done on it. I would like it done by the new year.

We have this roof light thingy, and the light bulb burnt out about forever ago and we have not gone to get a replacement bulb for it yet. It is some sort of specialty bulb thingy. So I took my bedroom lamp out and set it up for lighting. It was still too dark. I had to bend so far forward to take advantage of the light that my back was killing me before five hundred stitches- which sounds like a lot, but is NOT.

So I failed again at doing something I had set my mind to doing. I will take it out Monday and try doing it with the daytime light. We have a great big window in the living room and I am hopeful that the kids will occupy themselves so I can get some work on it done.
