Random Smokey Update

When We first got Smokey she was smaller than our cat. Now, five weeks later she is twice the size. Smokey is the most amusing pup. Right now we have a little dog, Rockey, staying at our house. The first two days they were pretty wary of each other, growling and barking, but now they seem to be getting along.

I have been taking shirts my youngest son doesn’t fit anymore and hemming them for Smokey to wear because she has no fur on her belly, but pretty soon I will have to go and buy her a real sweater. I was also looking at some dog treat jars because I have six bags of Beggin’ strips, Pig Ears and the like. I want to get a jar for them all in the same place, but I was wondering, if they are all sharing the same container will they all take on the same flavor?

Smokey has been having a few accidents the past three days, I think it is a combination of Rocky being here and that we are quite busy and don’t respond to her cues as fast when she wants to go out. I think next shopping trip we need to pick up some sort of deodorizer or neutralizer for the smell - she piddled on my bedroom carpet last night and I used the cat pee deodorizer, I'm not sure if it will work.

I cannot wait until she is potty trained, BUT yesterday she had a nap with us that did not involve her trying to lick off our face and prance on the bed like it is a trampoline! She actually laid down and slept :o)
