OMG LOL

I *WISH* I had a video camera this morning.

Withing the first few days of Smokey coming to live with us, the three year old stepped on her paw and the next day she fell down the stairs, hurting the same paw. She was so cute and tiny and we loved her half to death each time she hurt her paw.

Here;s the funny part.

This morning I was trying to fill the coffee maker and talk to the boys and smokey kept trying to jump up to see what was going on. I used my knee to block her jump so that she did not spill the water.

Note : I did not hurt her, I just blocked her

She dropped to the floor and sat looking at me with her head cocked to the side for a few seconds.

Barooo???

Then she started to whimper and whine in a VERY exaggerated way and limping around the kitchen. First the front left paw was hurt and she hopped on the other three, then her leg must have gotten tired because she switched to her back right paw. This continued, the whining and limping, until I finished with the boys and the coffee and called her over to me. As soon as I said her name and patted my thigh to call her, her tail started going a mile a minute and she ran to me - no limping, and laid on her back for a belly rub.

Pup's a playah!

LOL My dog would do this... and my kid does it all the time. She got out of school one day because she was genuinely sick (you have to be VERY sick to get out of school at home). Now about once a week she puts on her sad, sick face and says, "Mom, I don't feel good". When I tell her she can do school in bed she straightens right up and feels fine.

Marilyn my kids try that all the time...LOL! They have figured out that the only way they get out of school at home is if Mom's sick ;)
