There are three houses for sale on our street. (Want to buy one and live by me?) I searched for the MLS listings online and was shocked by the prices they are set at!
The one beside our house, exactly the same in layout, is selling for 300,000.00 Thats MORE than twice what we paid for our place two years ago!
I knew that real estate prices had risen, but this really shows that we were awesomely lucky with our timing in buying our home.

Our house is worth about the same or a little less... but it's always good to know and at least we have a little equity.
Way to go in picking a home in an area where the prices went up.
Sure i'll buy one and come live by you if I can get the price you paid for yours ;)
