I was thinking today about family traditions. One that sticks in my head, and one I WILL continue with my three boys is this one.
When me and my sister graduated from High School ( My brother has not yet graduated) we came home after The ceremony to find our parents had gifted us with Samsonite luggage. I cannot tell you how many times over the past ten years I have made use of that gift!
Some people, when told we were given luggage said things like "Take a hint they want to get rid of you!"
And I think that my parents meant that to be the joke, but the truth is, a good set of luggage is supremely useful!

I agree. My parents got me the same gift, but instead of thinking "take the hint they want you out", I like to beleive it's "Take the hint PLEASE come back and visit"
