I am of course, referring to my Bad Parenting award! Go ahead and guess which movie my three, five and eight year old boys are watching right this moment - sitting just feet away from me as I type this.
Ghost Rider. You know the dude with his skull on fire? Making deals with the devil? Bare breasted chicks? Yup. That's the one.
You see. I have no problems with my children - yes even the three year old - hearing bad words. My boys hear a lot of them from us, but they also know that those are grown up words and not for them to use AND they do not use them.
Sex scenes, I find inappropriate, but hubs assured me that there is VERY little of that variety in this movie - I've seen it, but it was a while ago, and I could not quite recall. It's rated 14 and over.
I have argued against this for months. Since it was in theaters to be exact, but with Hubs, and all three boys begging, I just gave in tonight.
They have also watched movies like Blade, The Matrix, Alien Vrs. Predator AND all three count the Jaws movies as favorites.
Yup. Hand over that award. Ill put it over here by my home theater popcorn machines!

I'm lucky my daughter's alive. I ate fish, peanut butter, and HAD A 1/2 A BEER (it made me sick so I quit there) when I was pregnant.
Late 70's, gimme a break. We were stoooopid then. ;-)
